This specimen was lot 75548 in Stack's Bowers May 2026 World Premier Collectors Choice Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, May 2026), where it sold for $488. The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA. 3 Rubles, 1997-AMA. St. Petersburg Mint. PCGS PROOF-70 Deep Cameo. Ballet series: Swan Lake, Small Swans Dance. Top pop; pop: 2." Tchaikovsky's ballet was honored with a series of NCLT's in gold and silver (3, 10, 25, 50 and 100 rubles), each with a different design.
Recorded mintage: 10,000.
Specification: 34.88 g, 0.900 fine silver, 1.000 troy oz ASW, 39 mm diameter, reeded edge.
