This specimen was lot 74516 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, November 2023), where it sold for $504. The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA. 50 Rubles, 1992-MMA. Moscow Mint. NGC PROOF-69 Ultra Cameo. The Age of Enlightenment series: Pashkov House. An interesting architectural type, this stunning specimen radiates with brilliance and resides at the cusp of perfection." We also note KM Y315, a bimetallic fifty rubles struck for circulation, and Fr-203, a quarter ounce gold coin featuring the snow ram.
