This type was minted 1992 only at St. Petersburg and Moscow for the Russian Federation. Inflation rendered further issue of this denomination useless. The coinage reform of 1998 (1000 old rubles = one new ruble) rendered these coins obsolete.

Recorded mintage: unknown but common.

Specification: 3.3 g, brass plated steel, 19.45 mm diameter.
