This specimen was lot 3064 in Sincona sale 77 (Zürich, May 2022), where it sold for 350 CHF (about US$425 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA | Russian Empire and Federation | Nicholas II. 1894-1917. 1/2 Kopeck 1916, St. Petersburg Mint. Rare in this condition, Uncirculated." This type was struck 1915-16 and is common. It is similar to the prior type of 1901-14 but with the mintmark deleted. It is the last of the denomination, wartime inflation havng rendered it useless.
