This specimen was lot 24781 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2018), where it sold for $780. The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA. 25 Kopek, 1894-AT. NGC MS-64. Last year of issue. Light attractive smokey grey tone with golden and charcoal hues hugging the devices. Sharply struck, lustrous and attractive." This type is listed for 1886-94. All dates are scarce to rare, especially compared to the large numbers of twenty kopeks issued in the same period. Alexander III ruled 1881-94.

Recorded mintage: unknown but the only common date.

Specification: 5 g, 0.900 fine silver, .1446 troy oz ASW.
