This specimen was lot 6179 in Künker sale 336 (Osnabrück, Germany, March 2020), where it sold for €950 (about US$1,243 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RUSSLAND, KAISERREICH, Alexander I. 1801-1825. 5 Rubel 1823, St. Petersburg. GOLD. Sehr schön. (empire of Russia, Alexander I, 1801-25, five rubles of 1823, St. Petersburg mint. Very fine.)"
This type was struck 1817-25 and is scarce.
