Russia 1815-KM AM 1/2 kopek
This specimen was lot 143 in Sincona Auction 99 (Zürich, October 2025), where it sold for 2,750 CHF (about US$4,145 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RUSSLAND Kaiserreich und Föderation, Alexander I. 1801-1825, Denga 1815, Suzun Mint, KM AM. Novodel. Sehr selten. (empire of Russia, Alexander I, 1801-25, denga of 1815, Suzun mint, novodel. Very rare. PCGS SP63 RB.)"
The denga was half a kopek. This type is listed for 1810-28 from Ekaterinburg, St. Petersburg, Kolyvan (shown here, 1812-17 only) and Izhora. This novodel, if it is one, appears identical to the ordinary circulation issue, down to the use of worn dies.
