Sincona sale 93, lot 1067

This specimen was lot 1067 in Sincona sale 93 (Zürich, October 2024), where it sold for 70 CHF (about US$97 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"RUSSLAND Kaiserreich und Föderation, Elizabeth, 1741-1761, Polushka 1749, Ekaterinburg Mint. NGC AU50 BN. Überdurchschnittliche Erhaltung, Extraordinary condition."

This type is noted for 1730-54 and is common thru very fine. The polushka or quarter kopek was the smallest denomination.

Recorded mintage: 1,880,000.
