This specimen was lot 1448 in Stack's Bowers ANA auction (Chicago, August 2014), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA. Denga (1/2 Kopek), 1749. Elizabeth (1741-62). PCGS MS-63 BN Secure Holder. Sharply struck. Rich brown color." This type is recorded for 1730-54 and is noted as common.
Recorded mintage: 75,860,000 (Moscow and Ekaterinburg together).
