This specimen was lot 224 in Sincona sale 78 (Zürich, October 2022), where it sold for 700 CHF (about US$839 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA | Russian Empire and Federation | Elizabeth, 1741-1761, Rouble 1748, Red Mint, MMD. 2.75 roubles according to Petrov. NGC UNC Details. Slightly cleaned." This type was struck at St. Petersburg 1743-51 and Moscow 1742-51 in moderate numbers and it is expensive today.
