This specimen was lot 43317 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2023), where it sold for $120. The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA. Kopek, ND (1709)-BK. Peter I. NGC AU Details--Environmental Damage. From the Sigma Collection." This type was struck n Moscow 1704-18 and is fairly common in low grade. It has a Cyrillic date. Another copper kopek exists for 1709 (KM 118) with the Moscow mint mark.
