This specimen was lot 3227 in Sincona sale 33 (Zürich, October 2016), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"RUMÄNIEN. Carol I. 1866-1914 100 Lei 1906. 40. Regierungsjubiläum. Vorzüglich. Kl. Kratzer. (Romania, Carol I, 1866-1914, one hundred lei of 1906, on the fortieth anniversary of the reign. Extremely fine, Minor scratches.)"
This commemorative was the last gold hundred lei; the next hundred lei coin, issued in 1932, was a silver coin the size of a British florin.
