Künker sale 405, part of lot 3073

This specimen was part of lot 3073 in Künker sale 405 (Osnabrück, March 2024), which sold for €180 (about US$236 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"DIE REICHSSTADT REGENSBURG. DIE ZEIT DES KAISERS RUDOLF II., 1576-1612. 1/84 Gulden (Pfennig) 1577, 1587, 1589, 1590, 1592, 1593, 1594, 1596. Münzmeister Jakob Fischer und Erhardt Scherl. 8 Stück. Zum Teil mit kl. Fehlern, meist sehr schön. (city of Regensburg, pennies of 1577-96, eight pieces. Some have defects, mostly very fine.)"

This type was struck 1587-99 and was worth 5/7 of a kreuzer.
