Künker sale 354, lot 6523

This specimen was lot 6523 in Künker sale 354 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €280 (about US$390 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"REICHSGOLDMÜNZEN, PREUSSEN, Wilhelm II. 1888-1918. 10 Mark 1910, A. Vorzüglich. (Germany, kingdom of Prussia, William II, 1888-1918, ten mark of 1910, extremely fine.)"

This type, issued 1890-1912, is common and is a product of the Berlin mint. The proofs are rare.

Recorded mintage: 803,111 + proofs.

Specification: 3.98 g, 0.900 fine gold, .115 troy oz AGW.
