This specimen was lot 2265 in Künker sale 352 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €220 (about US$306 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"REICHSGOLDMÜNZEN, PREUSSEN, Wilhelm II. 1888-1918. 10 Mark 1905, A. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. (Germany, unified gold coinage of the empire, kingdom of Prussia, William II, 1888-1918, ten mark of 1905. Very fine to extremely fine.)"
This type, issued 1890-1913, is common and is a product of the Berlin mint. The proofs are rare.
