Prussia 1802-B thaler Dav-755
This specimen was lot 3996 in Künker sale 353 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €120 (about US$167 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BRANDENBURG-PREUSSEN, PREUSSEN, KÖNIGREICH, Friedrich Wilhelm III. 1797-1840. Taler 1802, B. Mit Signatur L am Armabschnitt (Stempelschneider Daniel Friedrich Loos). Fast sehr schön. (Germany, kingdom of Prussia, Frederick William III, 1797-1840, thaler of 1802, with the initial "L" below the bust. About very fine.)"
This type was struck at Berlin and Breslau 1797-1809 and is common altho the 1802-B is a rare date.
