This specimen was lot 1153 in Sincona sale 38 (Zürich, May 2017), where it sold for 2,400 CHF (about US$2,878 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Brandenburg / Prussia, Friedrich Wilhelm I. 1713-1740 Dukat 1714. HFH-Magdeburg. Selten. Gutes sehr schön. (Germany, kingdom of Prussia, Frederick William I, 1713-40, ducat of 1714, Magdeburg mint. Rare, Good very fine.)"
The issue of ducats dwindled after the introduction of the friedrichs d'or in 1740. The last quarter ducat is dated 1716.
