This specimen was lot 30468 in Heritage sale 3037 (New York, January 2015), where it sold for $3,995. The catalog description[1] noted, "Maria I & Pedro III gold 3200 Reis 1784-(L) AU58 NGC, Lisbon mint (no mintmark on coin). Essentially Mint State, showing only the faintest rubbing evidence on the higher points and considerably lustrous surfaces relatively free of handling marks. A very scarce two-year type, quite challenging in this higher quality." This type was struck 1778 and 1784 only and is likely much rarer than the SCWC indicates.
