This specimen was lot 1030 in Sincona sale 69 (Zürich, May 2021), where it sold for 700 CHF (about US$929 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"PORTUGAL, Maria I. und Pedro III. 1777-1786. Peca 1781, Lissabon. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. Leicht berieben. (kingdom of Portugal, Maria I and Peter III, 1777-86, peca of 1781, Lisbon mint. Very fine-extremely fine, Slightly polished.)"
This type was struck 1777-81 but is seldom seen compared to similar coins that were struck in Brazil.
