This specimen was lot 3027 in Sincona sale 18 (Zürich, May 2014), where it sold for CHF 1,000 (about US$1,318 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Peca 1782. Lissabon. Fast vorzüglich. (kingdom of Portugal, peça of 1782, Lisbon mint, choice extremely fine.)"
This type was struck 1782-85 but is seldom seen compared to similar coins that were struck in Brazil.

Specification: 14.34 g, 0.917 fine gold, .423 troy oz AGW, 32 mm diameter; this specimen 14.31 g.
