This specimen was lot 1771 in Stephen Album sale 38 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2020), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "POLAND: Jan II Kazimierz Waza, 1649-1668, AR 18 groszy, 1659, initials TLB, light scratches, light verdigris at lower reverse, EF." This denomination, struck in various styles 1650-86, seems to be unique to Poland. The SCWC notes that it traded for a quarter thaler. This style comes in numerous varieties and assayer's initials, including 1659-AT and 1659-TLB.
