This specimen was lot 2281 in Künker Auction 425 (Osnabrück, July 2025), where it sold for €360 (about US$510 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"DEUTSCHE MÜNZEN UND MEDAILLEN · PFALZ, KURFÜRSTENTUM Karl Theodor, 1743-1799. 1/2 Konv.-Taler 1771, Mannheim. R Feine Patina, fast vorzüglich. (Germany, electorate of the Palatinate, Charles Theodore, 1743-99, half convention thaler of 1771, Mannheim mint. Rare, fine patina, about extremely fine.)"
This type was also struck in 1772.
