This specimen was lot 2280 in Künker Auction 425 (Osnabrück, July 2025), where it sold for €480 (about US$680 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"DEUTSCHE MÜNZEN UND MEDAILLEN · PFALZ, KURFÜRSTENTUM Karl Theodor, 1743-1799. Konv.-Taler 1770, Mannheim. Attraktive Patina, vorzüglich. Exemplar der Auktion Fritz Rudolf Künker 95, Osnabrück 2004, Nr. 3597. (Germany, electorate of the Palatinate, Charles Theodore, 1743-99, convention thaler of 1770, Mannheim mint. Attractive patina, extremely fine.)"
