This specimen was lot 2064 in Künker sale 352 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €1,800 (about US$2,505 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"PFALZ, KURFÜRSTENTUM, Karl Theodor, 1743-1799. Dukat 1746, Mannheim, auf die Huldigung in Heidelberg. GOLD. Kratzer, vorzüglich. (Germany, electorate of Pfalz, Charles Theodore, 1743-99, ducat of 1746, Mannheim mint, for the homage of the city of Heidelberg. Scratched, extremely fine.)"
A silver gulden was also struck for this occasion.
