Twelve examples struck, superb patina, about uncirculated. Ex: Virgil Brand.)"

This thaler commemorates the elector's term as vicar of the empire after the death of Charles VII (a Wittelsbach cousin) in 1745. We think the elector skimped a little on the weight.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specifications: silver, this specimen 22,65 g.
