This type was minted 1758 only for Clement XIII (1758-69). It honors the Lateran palace in Rome. The doppio giulio was twenty baiocchi, while the scudo was one hundred baiocchi. The SCWC notes this type as the most common of the three issues of 1758 (KM 979, KM 980 (shown here) and KM 981).
