Künker sale 352, lot 1266

This specimen was lot 1266 in Künker sale 352 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €1,000 (about US$1,392 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"ITALIEN, KIRCHENSTAAT/VATIKAN, Clemens XIII. 1758-1769. 1/2 Zecchino AN I/1758, Rom. GOLD. Vorzüglich. (Italy, Papal States, Clement XIII, 1758-69, half zecchino of year one, 1758, Rome mint. Extremely fine.)"

This is the only half ducat issued by Clement XIII. He minted it again in 1767.
