This mezzo grosso was struck during the reign of Benedict XIII (1724-30) to honor the Holy Year of 1725. It bears regnal year "A. II" in addition to the date. The mezzo grosso was 2½ baiocchi or one fortieth of a scudo. Many varieties were issued in the 1720's.
Recorded mintage: unknown but somewhat scarce.
Specification: 0.67 g, silver, 0.917 fine.
