This mezzo baiocco was struck during the reign of Benedict XIII (1724-30) to honor the Holy Year of 1725. The mezzo baiocco was half a baiocco or one two-hundredth of a scudo. Many varieties were issued in the 1720's.
Recorded mintage: unknown but scarce.
