This type was minted in 1676 as a sede vacante issue after the death of Innocent XI. The SCWC lists two different giulii for 1676, one sede vacante (shown here) and one for Innocent XI (KM-409). The giulio was ten baiocchi, while the piastra, the Italian equivalent of the German thaler, was 105 baiocchi (3½ testone).
