This specimen was lot 43372 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2019), where it sold for $228. The catalog description[1] noted, "ITALY. Papal States. Giulio, Year XIV (1714). Clement XI (1700-21). PCGS AU-58 Gold Shield. St. Paul standing type. Gorgeous quality for the grade with amber orange tone outlining and emboldening many of the designs on the both sides. Sold with two old sale tickets." This type does not bear a calendar date but was struck years XIV-XV (1714-15). It is a scarcer type.
