This specimen was lot 75735 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for $105. The catalog description[1] noted, "ITALY. Papal (States of the Church). Grosso, Year XV (1715/6). Rome Mint. Clement XI. PCGS EF-45." The grosso was five baiocchi or one twentieth of a scudo. Many varieties were issued in the 1710's. The subsequent type (KM 760) had a halo added to the bust of St. Paul.
