This specimen was lot 21141 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2020), where it sold for $3,840. The catalog description[1] noted, "ITALY. Papal States. Scudo d'Oro, ND (1691) Year I. Rome Mint. Innocent XII. NGC MS-65. Obverse: Papal coat-of-arms; Reverse: Radiant and draped bust of St. Peter right. An enchanting specimen, this splendid Gem offers quality that is hardly ever encountered along with a tremendous array of brilliant luster. A fairly RARE type, the present piece should undoubtedly generate a great deal of enthusiasm." This coin is catalogued as a scudo d'oro, a coin about 4% lighter than a ducat. It has a regnal date ("·A·I·") but no AD date.
