Stack's Bowers 2026 NYINC sale, lot 47842

This specimen was lot 47842 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2026), where it sold for $145. The catalog description^[1] noted, "ITALY. Papal (States of the Church). Giulio, 1691. Rome Mint. Sede Vacante. PCGS EF-40." This type was minted in 1691 as a sede vacante issue after the death of Alexander VII. We're not sure this is listed in the SCWC; we can't find the KM number the auctioneers cited.

Specification: 3.05 g, 0.917 fine silver, 26 mm diameter.
