This specimen was lot 5822 in Künker sale 354 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €2,000 (about US$2,784 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"NÜRNBERG, STADT, Reichstaler 1630, mit Titel Ferdinands II. R Kl. Zainende, sehr schön-vorzüglich. (Germany, city of Nuremberg, thaler of 1630, struck in the name of Ferdinand II. Clipped, very fine to extremely fine.)"
This is one of the scarcer types from this city. The date is in a chronogram.
