This specimen was lot 11078 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €2,040 (about US$2,126). The catalog description[1] noted, "NORWAY. Skilling, 1669. Christiania mint. Frederik III. NGC MS-62. Most beautiful and exceptional condition for type. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." This is the final date of a type struck 1649-69. One specie daler was six mark or 96 skilling.
