This specimen was lot 11066 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €2,160 (about US$2,251). The catalog description^[1] noted, "NORWAY. 2 Skilling, 1665. Christiania mint. Frederik III. NGC MS-63. Exceptional, Mint State specimen, making this common date highly un-common. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." This type was struck 1649-67 in many varieties. One specie daler was six mark or 96 skilling.

Recorded mintage: 473,000.

Specification: 1.30 g, 0.281 fine silver, 18.5 mm diameter, this specimen 1.42 g.
