This specimen was lot 11064 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €264 (about US$275). The catalog description[1] noted, "NORWAY. Skilling, 1664. Christiania mint. Frederik III. NGC MS-61. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." This type was struck 1649-69 in many varieties. For 1664, the king's name was spelled "FRIDERIC 3" or "FRIDERIC III". One specie daler was six mark or 96 skilling.
