This specimen was lot 11039 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €312 (about US$325). The catalog description[1] noted, "NORWAY. Mark, 1657. Christiania mint. Frederik III. NGC EF-40. Flan with hole (occurred in the production of the flan and not a later damage) From the L. E. Bruun Collection. Ex: Countship of Brahesminde Collection (Private Sale-1922). Ex: Peter von Hemmert Collection (Copenhagen-1807) Lot #872." This type was struck 1649-61 and is very scarce. One specie daler was six mark or 96 skilling.
