This specimen was lot 11023 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €600 (about US$625). The catalog description[1] noted, "NORWAY. Mark, 1649. Christiania mint. Frederik III. NGC EF-40. From the L. E. Bruun Collection. Ex: Countship of Brahesminde Collection (Private Sale-1922)." This type was struck 1649-61 and is very scarce. One specie daler was six mark or 96 skilling.
