This specimen was lot 11024 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €552 (about US$575). The catalog description[1] noted, "NORWAY. 2 Mark, 1650. Christiania mint. Frederik III. NGC AU Details--Cleaned. A well-struck and handsome specimen. From the L. E. Bruun Collection. Ex: Johan G. Guildal Collection (Private Sale-1918)." This type was struck 1649-62 and is scarce. One specie daler was six mark or 96 skilling.
