New Zealand 1935 1/2 crown
This specimen was lot 23325 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2020), where it sold for $456. The catalog description[1] noted, "NEW ZEALAND. 1/2 Crown, 1935. PCGS MS-64+ Gold Shield. Lightly toned and offering satiny luster, this charming, handsome example presents even steel gray surfaces. From the Fenton Collection." Coinage was first struck for New Zealand in 1933 and this type, struck 1933-35, quickly proved popular, being issued until the end of sterling coinage in 1965. The denomination was converted to copper-nickel in 1947. Pence and halfpence were not added until 1940. Most of the silver issues are expensive in high grade.
