This billon ten cents was struck at the Philadelphia mint for the Dutch government-in-exile 1941-45. They largely circulated in Surinam and Curaçao. San Francisco and Denver also chipped in during 1944. The homeland type was struck in Utrecht 1926-41.
Recorded mintage: 120,000,000.
Specification: 1.4 g, 0.640 fine silver, 15 mm diameter.
