This specimen was lot 663 in Classical Numismatic Group's sale of the Lissner Collection (Chicago, August 2014), where it sold for $205.70. The catalog description[1] noted, "NETHERLANDS, Kingdom. William II. 1840-1849. AR 25 Cents. Utrecht mint; muntmeestertekens: sword and winged caduceus. H.A. van den Wall Bake, mintmaster. Dated 1848. Dot after date. In NGC encapsulation graded MS 64. Choice moderately toned Uncirculated. Purchased from Frank Lapa, January 1969." This type was struck 1848-49.
