This type was struck in Utrecht and Brussels 1817-37 for William I. The 1837 is common. After Belgium obtained her independence in 1830, the Brussels mint continued striking for the new country while the Utrecht mint operates to this day for the Dutch government. The type was struck with little change 1860-77 but reduced in weight in 1877.
