Mulhausen in Thuringia, west of Schwarzburg

This specimen was lot 73660 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, November 2023), where it sold for $384. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Muhlhausen. 2/3 Taler, 1767. PCGS EF-45. Despite some even and consistent wear, this handsome example delivers much eye appeal, with strong visual allure remaining. A pleasing piece for any collector of German silver coinage." Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: silver.

Catalog reference: KM-74; J-6.
