This specimen was lot 3571 in Steve Album Auction 53 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2025), where it sold for $192. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO: Estados Unidos, AR 5 pesos, 1997, Jarabe Tapatío (Mexican Hat Dance / Dances & Customs) issue, a spectacular example, PCGS graded PF68 Deep Cameo." This type was issued in small numbers 1997-98 as part of the Ibero-American series.

Recorded mintage: 8,011 proofs.

Specification: 27 g, 0.925 fine silver, 40 mm diameter, reeded edge.
