Stephen Album sale 43, lot 1567

This specimen was lot 1567 in Stephen Album sale 43 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2022), where it sold for $540. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO: Estados Unidos, AV 10 pesos, 1919-Mo, better date, small marks, AU." This type was struck at the Mexico City mint 1905-10, 1916-20 and restruck in 1959.

Recorded mintage: 266,000.

Specification: 8.33 g, 0.900 fine gold, 22.5 mm diameter.
