Mexico 1901C centavo rev DSL.jpg

This specimen is one of a series struck 1901-1905 at the Culiacan mint. The Culiacan issues are generally given a premium over the product of the Mexico City mint, which also struck this type 1899-1905. The 1905-C is downright rare. This type is available in brown uncirculated but may not exist with mint red.

Specification: copper.

Mintage: 220,000.

Catalog reference: KM 394.
