Shown is an 1901CnQ five centavos, of a type struck 1898-1904. This issue from Culiacan is among the common dates, available in all grades. Assayer Q (JQ on the peso) is recorded for 1899-1903. Other mints include Zacatecas, Guanajuato and Mexico City. The mintage of silver five centavos ceased with the reform of 1905.
